About Me

I am a fourth year student at the University of Western Ontario who is currently pursuing an Honours in Political Science with a Major in Ecosystem Health.

I am currently working to launch an organization that looks to advocate for and pursue the inclusion of more social and global awareness within the current Ontario secondary school system with the support of DreamNow (www.dreamnow.org). I am not looking to change the content of the curriculum but rather the manner in which it is delivered. I would like to make to more relevant to the "real world" and the youth it is being directed to in a local and global context. While doing this, I hope to relay the importance and relevance of civic engagement, social responsibility and environmental protection to secondary students.

To do this, I am creating workshops to illustrate this delivery system and look to present it to classes. In order to ensure it has a lasting impact, I hope to work with these classes throughout the year and create some form of a follow up system.
